My Third New Phyrexia Prediction: Plutonium Myr February 18, 2011

Posted by James in : all, fake cards, speculation , trackback

This card could actually exist in New Phyrexia.

And it should. I’m not sure why it wasn’t made yet.

Let me know what you think.

you know why? cause this.

Phyrexian Altar
Artifact, 3 (3)
Sacrifice a creature: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.

More likely they would reprint this than make this myr.

The myr isn’t really corrupted by phyrexia anyway. They could make it if the cost was sac a creature instead of 1 damage.

Phyrexian War Beast would be a nice reprint.

Phyrexian War Beast
Artifact Creature - Beast 3/4, 3 (3)
When Phyrexian War Beast leaves the battlefield, sacrifice a land and Phyrexian War Beast deals 1 damage to you.

The Myr could be a Mirrin Myr instead of a Phyrexian one. I think the reprints you mentioned are pretty likely to happen as well.

Someone has seen the *Plutonium Dragon* in Munchkin? Hahaha I like Plutonium. Deadly radiations are sweet. But Mirrodin doesn’t have plutonium. Why would Karn have created that in his mathematical paradise? loll I suppose it could get imported… but the cost! Have you seen Mirrodin’s shipping and brokerage fees? Maddening. loll

The card: Ravnica has already one like this, and its a 2B zombie druid. The idea is good, but wont happen. A New Phyrexian Altar is more likely.

Munchkin has certainly inspired some of my ideas. I made a Plutonium Angel a while back. http://www.recoculous.com/2008/11/11/unscrewed-part-2-plutonium-angel/

There’s already Birds of Paradise and other artifacts that produce mana of any color. Putting mana production on a creature makes it worse because it’s so delicate.
