Selling Fake Cards & Alternate Art on Ebay is an exciting opportunity for artists… and others. There are at least 8 varieties of these cards:
- Extended art painted on a card.
- Textless art painted on a card.
- Creative art alteration.
- Creative art painted on a card.
- Irrelevant art painted on a card.
- Random girl painted on a foil land.
- Cards made in MSE.
- Picture pasted onto card.

If this art is really painted on the card, the artist did a great job. Otherwise it might just be a picture pasted onto the card.
Random girl painted on a foil land
This has nothing to do with anything, but sometimes they sell for a bundle. The more naked they are, the more they seem to sell for.
Either the artist is learning about the nudity secret or I just didn’t see how much s/he exploited nudity. Here is another one I found today from him/her:
It’s already going for over three times the amount of the other one shown above. A similar picture to this one but even more naked is also being sold, but it looks like the girl’s missing nipples.
Cards made in MSE
Clearly made in MSE. Still has a box for the set symbol. Advertised as a “proxy.” Four of these sold in an auction for $11, which is way too much. I wouldn’t advise selling MSE cards on ebay because you might get into trouble.
Picture pasted onto card
Artwork stolen off deviantart and used for a fake card. Art is by garun. Also advertised as a proxy. This might be against ebay’s rules. Not advised.
